Day 02

Day 03
● Suggestion: Discover Ponte de Lima (an almost thousand-year-old village and capital of the Lima sub-region – Vinho Verde) and Viana do Castelo (historic center, Atlantic coast, Sanctuary and Citânia de Santa Luzia). *The Citânia is very important for placing people in the context of pre-Roman Celtic/Castreja history, specifically in the northwest of the peninsula, and the deep affinities that link Galicia and northern Portugal.
● Dinner: Fado Restaurant (Amália – Viana do Castelo)
Day 04
● Walk along the Lima Ecovia: Guided interpretive walk along the Lima River. Approx. 3 hours, easy level of difficulty.
● Picnic | Tapas & Wine: By the river, in a peaceful and harmonious setting.
● Visit & Tasting: On the return trip via Ecovia, stop at Quinta de Cerqueiral for a visit and wine tasting (duration 1.5–2 hours)
Day 05
● Suggestion 1: Discover Mezio Biological Park and the village of Soajo, in the heart of the National Park
● Suggestion 2: Discover Valença and Tui. Route of the Santiago trails and border history. Cross from one side to the other on foot via the century-old bridge. Have lunch in Tui next to the cathedral. On the way back, you can pass through Cerveira and take the highway there.
● Suggestion 3: Arcos – Monção Road. Stop in Moreira to visit Quinta da Torre – Anselmo Mendes / Alvarinho (we provide price information and make the reservation. They pay on the spot). Visit the historic center of Monção. Continue to Valença / Lunch (1:00 p.m./1:30 p.m.). Then visit the historic area and possibly cross the century-old bridge to Tui to visit the cathedral and medieval streets. Return via the highway.
